Yesterday we returned from a retreat to Castlerigg Manor in Keswick. This was the first retreat to be planned and run by the YCW group. The group devised several workshops based around the theme of 'Making a difference'. This theme was decided after many in the group believed that young people were perceived as lazy and not willing to help out in the community. It was a great success as everyone came away having felt that they'd achieved what they set out to get from the weekend. Feedback from the group has also been very positive:
